Meet the Team

CEO, Co-Founder
Fredrik Hjelm
With over two decades in the tech industry, I've worked in telecom, consulting, multiplayer game platforms, and mobile gaming, spending the last 12 years at King. I love leading teams and creating collaborative and inclusive environments.

A lifelong nature enthusiast, my concern for climate change deepened after a transformative presentation by meteorologist Martin Hedberg. This inspired me to pivot my career towards fighting climate change.

My mission is to create games for a sustainable future, using my tech skills and leadership experience to raise awareness and inspire action against climate change.

CTO, Co-Founder
Markus Ridal
I have been a software developer throughout my entire career, starting in 1999. Over the years, I've explored various fields, including contracting, telecom, fintech, and online poker. Eventually, I returned to my roots in gaming, spending the last decade at King.
This journey has taught me what truly motivates me: working with people and teams, striving for excellence, and making a difference.

Teamwork has been a cornerstone of my life since my youth, inspired by great mentors in the world of sports. This experience shaped my approach to teamwork and leadership, which I now apply daily and as an agile coach.
When it comes to making a difference, I am passionate about contributing to environmental sustainability. Merging this commitment with the fun and creativity of the gaming industry is a perfect fit for me.

Art Director, Co-Founder,
Mattias Andersson
I have always loved to draw and being creative since I was a kid.
Since 2012 I have been working at King and been part of the Candy Crush team and seen it grow from a small team to a Billion dollar IP.
At King I had the great opportunity to work with amazing talented people and had the chance for a while to lead the artists in the Candy Crush team as an Art lead and Line manager.

Growing up in a small mountain village in the northern part of Sweden I have always loved spending time in nature and feel strongly for the climate.
I strongly believe that there is still hope for this planet and that we all can contibute for a change.
That´s why I´m so excited to being part of Green Leap Games where we want to make our players more engaged in the climate by playing our games.

Altea Blomkvist
Art and games have always been a big part of my life. Combined with each other, both interests have led me all the way into the gaming industry where I got the chance to create things I really love!
Regarding my artistic background I have studied at some very nice schools! I graduated from Carlforsska gymnasium art program, Västerås traditional art school, Playgroundsquad's 3D artist program, Illustration and fashion design course and I am soon to be graduated from the game artist program at TGA Stockholm.
Aside from art and games, I am really into fantasy, books, larping, cosplay and ttrpgs. For the last year at TGA I have been doing my internship at Green Leap Games and it has been super fun and improving! I love to be a part of this team and work with games that can change the world!

Intern, Programmer
Martin Carlsson
I am a passionate game programming student with hands-on experience in various programming languages and game engines. Currently studying game programming, I am eager to chase my dream and becoming a game programmer and apply my skills to projects and constantly seek opportunities to expand my knowledge in both programming and game development through projects, internships, and employment.
Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve always had a passion for games. It’s hard to beat that feeling of heading over to a friend’s house and playing together on the couch. As time has gone on, my love for games has only grown, and now, I’m studying to soon create the kind of experiences that will give future generations that same unforgettable feeling.
